Fun Cheese and Veg Kebabs

A great alternative to sandwiches, these kebabs are an ideal lunch to make with the kids from scratch. The carrots and peppers add important vitamins and the cheese is a good source of protein which helps normal development and maintenance of bones, making these a super lunchbox filler. 

30g Cheddar cut into small chunks

½ carrot, peeled

½ red pepper
½ slice of bread



Shave the carrots into wide ribbons/waves using a potato peeler.

Cut the red pepper into star shapes using a star cookie cutter.

Cut the ½ slice bread into flowers using a cookie cutter.

Assemble all onto a skewer with bread flowers top and bottom and carrot curls, cheesy chunks and pepper stars seen as layers between.
